ComTEC Equipment LIbrary has a range of AT such as iPads with communication apps, computer hardware and software, switches and mounting systems.
At ComTEC, we are experts in knowing about a broad range of AT, how the equipment works and how to integrate it into a person's life.
We know that the successful implementation of low-cost and mid-cost AT can save money. However, equipment (whether or not it is high, low or mid-cost) for complex needs such as alternative communication, can require many therapy hours to set up and implement. These costs can be reduced by accessing our support packages as ComTEC’s AAC experts can guide teams through the entire process.
Instead of having to research and try a large number of options, we can save you time and therapy funds by helping you and your therapist identify the devices or apps that meet your goals and needs; show you how they work and teach you strategies for implementing the technology according to evidence based practice.
